Now it's all done. The nightmares of waking up early and the horrible nap on bus are no longer bothering me. Well, suppose so! At least for this year. Next year's professional practice is set to be in London. No use talking about the future which hasn't come yet. I will not be writing about what I have learnt throughout this school experience at Walmer Science College, at least not tonight. But I really feel annoyed every time I see this picture...
Now you tell me. Where on earth is Malaysia? Isn't this a shame to look at on the world map but our beloved country is not even on map. How come they can see the small dot of Singapore and Brunei, but not to realise our Malaysia. No wonder, all the students in Walmer do not have any idea where Malaysia is. Some of them are even guessing that Malaysia is near to Africa. *hands on face* Looking back at this situation, it does make me to realise that we are responsible to introduce Malaysia, and provide them some useful and interesting culture about Malaysia itself. Here are some questions that have been raised by the students. Don't feel terrible, because I just did.
1. Is there clean water in Malaysia?
2. What transports do you have in Malaysia?
3. How many schools do you have in Malaysia?
4. What is the percentage of the poor? Is it higher?
5. What's the climate in Malaysia?
The most hard-to-answer question is "Is there clean water in Malaysia". I was like "Do we look like living in a jungle, surviving for clean water and drinking river water?" Then, I laughed at myself. "We even take a shower 3 times a day" Phewww~
I suppose, Malaysia which is one of the developing countries should consider introducing Malaysia internationally. Though yes, it's true to say that Malaysia is well-known in London, but not in small districts. Anyway, we have done our part representing our Malaysia. That will be just enough. Now they know, where Malaysia is and how it looks like.
